t's a muggy morning for our entire area with lows mainly in the lower 80's and high humidity. Rain chances are low this morning and only go up slightly after lunchtime for inland areas. Skies will be mostly sunny early with a few more clouds this afternoon. Winds will be light today adding to the stifling feeling of the thick air. Highs will be in the lower 90's but it will feel like 100°+ for most of the afternoon. The UV Index will be extreme today so limited sun exposure is a good idea.

Tonight will be another muggy night with lows in the lower 80s. A stray shower is possible but rain chances are low. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy.

Rain chances remain isolated Thursday with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the lower 90's but heat index values will continue in the triple digits.

Rain chances are a little higher Friday but are still only isolated to scattered during the afternoon. Friday will be very hot and humid with highs in the low-mid 90's. Heat index values will be well into the triple digits.

Rain chances continue to climb each day this weekend. Scattered rain and storms are in the forecast each afternoon. Highs will be in the low-mid 90's Saturday and lower 90's Sunday.

By early next week a stationary frontal boundary positions itself around central Florida helping to increase moisture flowing into our area. This will increase our rain and storm chances to scattered to numerous Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the lower 90's.

In the tropics, a tropical wave just off the coast of Africa has a 20% chance of development in the next 5 days. Slow development is expected this weekend as this system moves west through the tropical Atlantic.
