Shatavia Olivia Thomas Source: WPDWILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - US Marshals arrested a man in Wilmington, which led to a second arrest by local police.
Devante Quashawn Bloodworth, 20, was wanted for possession with intent to sell/deliver heroin and selling heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, according to a release from WPD.
On Friday, The US Marshal's Task Force tracked down Bloodworth to a residence on Greendale Drive. They found narcotics inside, allowing the Wilmington Police Department to ask for a search warrant, according to the release. Because of this, Shatavia Olivia Thomas, 19, was arrested. She faces several charges including trafficking heroin, other drug-related offenses, and misdemeanor child abuse.
Both Bloodworth and Thomas are in custody at the New Hanover County detention facility. Bloodworth is being held under $120,100 bond, and Thomas's bond is $50,000.
