CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) - Visitors to Carolina Beach will soon have a new place to check in.
Town leaders say they will break ground on a new Hampton Inn and Suites in the next several months.
Mayor Bob Lewis says construction on the hotel should start by this fall.
Plans call for the hotel to be built in the empty lot next to the Boardwalk.
The hotel will have more that 100 oceanfront rooms.
