WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department have one person in custody following a robbery at Scotchman Friday morning, according to Sgt. Kennedy with the WPD.
According to dispatch, the robbery happened around 7 a.m. at the Scotchman on Masonboro Loop Road.
Following the incident, a description of the vehicle was released and law enforcement pulled the vehicle over shortly thereafter.
Police have not released the name of the person taken into custody, but did say the person is being charged with common law robbery
There aren't any details on what was taken from the store; however, everything was recovered.
