
'Iron Man 3' opens May 3.WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Young inventors are being asked to channel their inner Tony Stark for Marvel's Iron Man 3: Inventor and Innovator Fair. As part of the competition, students are being asked to create innovative, inventive projects based on the science, technology and engineering from the Iron Man franchise. The competition is for 6th to 9th grade students.
According to www.marvel.com, the winners of the science competition will win a trip to California for a behind-the-scenes tour of Disney Studios.
According to Marvel, the top 12 will also meet with Disney Imagineers and go to Disneyland. They will also have their projects on display at the famous El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. The four Grand Prize winners will be awarded at the theater on May 3, prior to the showing of Iron Man 3.
