Montreal Greene (Source: Wilmington Police)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A man in Wilmington was arrested after being accused of throwing a brick toward officers, who were in the area to investigate gunfire.
It all went down after 4 a.m. Saturday at 1415 Dawson Street.
Police say an officer heard gunfire coming from the front of the End Zone night club. When police showed up to check it out, there was a crowd of people leaving the club. That's when officers say Montreal Greene, 25, threw a brick at them.
Police never did find the person responsible for the gunfire. They found numerous shell casings on the sidewalk in front of the club, along with two unfired 9mm rounds. Nothing appeared to be hit.
