ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Pender County fire crews respond to a wildfire through county lines.
According to officials, the fire started around 1 p.m. Sunday on Hardy Graham Road in Onslow County.
Officials evacuated homes in the areas of Brians Woods Road, Tomahawk Road, and Strawberry Road.
According to a Red Cross press release, residents are allowed back into their homes & the fire is under control.
More than 100 acres have burned so far and eight units from Pender County responded.
No injuries or structural damage reported at this point.
