WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – High pressure will build into the Carolinas this weekend bringing with it mostly sunny skies and a slight warming trend.
Temperatures will climb into the low 60s today with abundant sunshine. Winds will persist out of the north at about 8-13 mph.
Mainly clear skies are expected tonight, so temperatures will fall rapidly. Temperatures will plunge into the upper 30s by Sunday morning.
Milder conditions are expected Sunday as winds switch out of the east and then southeast as high pressure moves off shore. Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s by Sunday afternoon.
Dry conditions will come to an end Tuesday as our next chance of rain moves into the area. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. Temperatures could reach 70 degrees both Monday and Tuesday.
