Truck loses concrete slab on Highway 17.
(Source: Allan Libby)PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A truck carrying concrete slab lost its load Friday afternoon causing traffic delays on Highway 17.
The driver of the truck was traveling north on Highway 17 when the car in front of him stopped suddenly.
The truck driver veered left, off the road, into the median ditch, which caused a giant concrete slab that he was carrying to come loose.
