Bruns. Co. suspects face drug charges; bonds set at $1 million

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Two suspects were arrested Tuesday and face drug charges, according to a spokesperson for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

Dargon Lewis Parker, 34, and Julia Grandy Parker, 22, both of Hickman Road in Calabash, were arrested and charged.

Dargon faces the following charges:

  • One count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance, namely 12.2 grams of hydrocodone (schedule III of NC Controlled Substance Act)
  • One count conspire traffic opium/heroin
  • One count conspire sell/deliver Schedule III Controlled substance (Hydrocodone)
  • One count sexual battery
  • One count solicit crime against nature
  • One count possess drug paraphernalia

Julia faces the following charges:

  • One count trafficking, opium or heroin (over 28 grams opium)
  • One count possession of drug paraphernalia
  • One count conspire traffic opium/heroin
  • One count consp. sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance (hydrocodone)

Both are being held at the Brunswick County jail under a $1 million bond each.
