WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The LA Times is taking notice of the latest project filming in Hollywood East.
An article in Wednesday's paper explores the reasons why CBS's Under the Dome picked Wilmington, Southport and Burgaw for filming.
According to the article, CBS considered Texas and Louisiana - but chose our area because of North Carolina's 25% film tax credit.
It also mentions that NBC's Revolution selected Wilmington for filming, as well as movies like Iron Man 3 and We're the Millers.
