NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – An accident near the Thomas Rhodes Bridge is tying up traffic heading towards Pender County on Highway 421.

According to NHC Dispatch, the accident happened just before 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.

Dispatch tweeted the accident had injuries, but there were no details regarding the condition of anyone involved.

Expect delays if you're heading to that area.
