WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A Black Hawk Helicopter made a landing at Anderson Elementary School Monday morning.

The aircraft landed at the school as part of the STARBASE Youth Program at Fort Fisher. The program provides students with hands-on learning in science and technology.

Some members of Anderson Elementary's staff boarded the helicopter and took flight on the Black Hawk. Students were definitely impressed with what they saw.
