BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Leaders are finding out what it will take to bring more business to Brunswick County.

Brunswick County Economic Development Director Jim Bradshaw briefed county commissioners at a special workshop on Thursday.

Bradshaw told WECT.com that North Carolina needs to offer more incentives if they want more businesses to come here and provide more jobs.

Bradshaw said businesses and companies are choosing to go to states like South Carolina, Georgia and Texas because of the lack of incentives.

Bradshaw said one of the commission main goals for 2013 is to push politicians to make this a number one priority to help our area.
