North Carolina's Jonathan Cooper can add All-Academic to his already lengthy list of awards.
Cooper was one of three Tar Heels to make the ACC's All-Academic Football Team.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
The Hoggard product is projected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. During his senior season he earned first-team All-America honors, the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, and was the first finalist for the Outland Trophy in program history.
Cooper graduated in December with a degree in communication studies.
