WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Clearer and drier and gradually cooler conditions will be the norm over the next couple of days as high pressure flirts with the area.
In the wake of yesterday's storm, drier air has already started pushing in, however the colder air is taking its time moving in. That means high temperatures today should move into the mid 60s for most locations. Drier and cooler air moves into the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
Saturday will be cooler with temperatures starting in the low 30s, and highs moving into the mid to upper 50s. Late Saturday into Sunday there is a small chance for rain.
