NBI Properties, one of the leading and fastest-growing full-service real estate firms in the Southeast, has been named the real estate agency of record for the City of Fort Walton Beach. Chosen from among several area firms who also bid for the opportunity to represent the City, NBI Properties (http://www.nbiproperties.com) will be responsible for evaluating city properties, negotiations, listings, purchasing, and managing and leasing of properties.
Founded by Craig Barrett and Jayme Nabors who are lifelong residents of the Emerald Coast, the company's headquarters is located at 154 Brooks Street, #101, in downtown Fort Walton Beach. The rapidly expanding firm also has an additional office in Crestview and has plans to open another office in Tallahassee in the near future.
In announcing the decision to select NBI Properties as real estate agency of record, city officials pointed to the firm's unsurpassed knowledge of local market values, appraising, evaluating, listing and selling properties. NBI co-founder Jayme Nabors said his company was thrilled by the chance to assist the City in an official capacity.
"Over the years, NBI has analyzed many exciting new ventures that have brought added value and revenues to the City of Fort Walton Beach," he said. Barrett said that NBI employs a staff of 20, including licensed brokers, agents, property managers, a marketing department, a web site manager and office personnel. He noted that he and other members of the NBI Properties team have worked extensively with the City of Fort Walton Beach on numerous projects, permitting, renovations, zoning, property development and acquisitions in the past, as well as playing a major role in attracting businesses for the Fort Walton Beach Industrial Park and actively participating in various community and downtown revitalization projects.
