SURF CITY,NC (WECT)- If you've ever had the desire to relive the glory days on the basketball court and have had a hard time finding something active to do during the winter months, you're in luck.
The Surf City Community Center is starting a senior basketball program for the very first time.
The action will take place Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning March 4, 2013 and it is for men and women 55 years and older.
The cost is $5 per session or you can sign up for an annual senior pass.
To register you can go to the Surf City Community Center gym located at 201 Community Center Drive off J. H. Batts Rd., on the mainland in Surf City.
