Steven Ross (Source: New Hanover County Jail)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A man was arrested in Wilmington Sunday afternoon after reports of him firing shots at a vehicle outside while he was naked.
"There were just gunshots right outside my house," a woman told 911 operators. "The guy across the street was just shooting, he came outside naked and was shooting at a burgundy, um, Marque that was driving down the street."
According to Lt. Mary Green with the Wilmington Police Department, Steven Ross was arrested and charged in the incident. When officers had arrived on the scene, Ross was fully dressed.
Ross is charged with:
- Possession of a firearm by a felon
- Trafficking cocaine
- Maintaining a vehicle or dwelling with a controlled substance
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Breaking a city ordinance
