
SOUTHEASTERN NC (WECT) - Emergency officials in our area are reporting no problems on the roads or bridges. 911 dispatchers in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Columbus and Bladen counties report clear after last night's snow.
If you are traveling out of the area today, state officials are warning motorists of potential problems throughout the state. North Carolina Emergency Management is warning that the highest probability of black ice and dangerous road conditions this morning will be along the I-85 corridor between mile marker 175 (Durham) and mile marker 233 (Norlina), the I-40 corridor between mile marker 300 (Raleigh) and mile marker 364 (Warsaw), the I-95 corridor between mile marker 70 (Wade) and mile marker 132 (Rocky Mount), and northern portions of Wake county where additional snow accumulations occurred late Saturday evening and early this morning.
