Garden Show comes to WilmingtonWILMINGTON, NC - (WECT) - It may be cold outside, but it was nice and warm inside the Cape Fear Schwartz Center. On Saturday, the center was transformed into an indoor garden for the 20th annual Garden Show. Everything from plants, to sculptures, to birdhouses made from recycled materials were on display for all to see.
About 50 vendors set up shop, answering questions and holding demonstrations. An Emmy-Award wining host of a garden TV show even addressed the crowd, offering his tips when it comes to growing plants.
"I just do whatever I can to help people number one learn the basic principals of gardening," said Bryce Lane, the host of "In the Garden with Bryce Lane," but also to be a cheerleader of this hobby because it's something important and it's something that helps the environment."
The Garden Show will also take place on Sunday, at Cape Fear's Schwartz Center.
