MT. JULIET, TN (WSMV) -
The Mt. Juliet City Council voted Monday night to allow liquor stores to operate within the city.
Only three stores will be allowed to open in the city, and they must be at least three miles apart.
The stores also have to be between 3,000 and 10,000 square feet.
The city will begin taking applications for liquor stores Wednesday.
