BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Officers in Elizabethtown are investigating reports of shots fired at Bo's Food Store Saturday evening.
According to Chief Robert Kinlaw, a man fired several shots at a person who was leaving the store after shopping. The victim ran back inside the store and the shooter followed, still firing shots at the target victim.
Kinlaw said the shooter ran away toward Martin Luther King Drive once the victim was safely inside the store.
Police say it appears there were six to eight shots fired. A glass in the front door was shot out by the gunman, but no one was hurt.
