(WECT) - The northeast is bracing for, what many are calling, a potentially historic blizzard.
A satellite image from NOAA's GOES-13 satellite was taken Friday, Feb. 8, around 9 a.m., and it shows an area of low pressure approaching a second area of low pressure riding along the coast.
According to the National Weather Service, the merged storm will move northeast and drop between two to three feet of snow in parts of New England.
