WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – While clouds will linger for the first half of the day increasing clearing conditions are expected. Breezy conditions will continue throughout the day as the low pressure center that caused the inch and a half or more of precipitation across the area moves to the north. While highs will get to nearly 60F another quick moving cold front will move through the region tonight after dark - bringing a small chance of showers and some cooler conditions.
Saturday morning we will see mostly sunny skies and cooler calmer conditions with highs in the mid 50s. Lows into Sunday will move below freezing with cloudless skies overnight.
Sunday we will keep sunshine around for most of the day with highs, seasonable, in the upper 50s.
More shows are expected early next work week in association with another cold front moving through the region.
