NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Members of the Coastal Resource Commission met for their second straight day on the campus of UNC-Wilmington Thursday.
Topics included terminal groins and sea level rise, but there was no mention of the future of board members while WECT.com sat in on the discussions.
State lawmakers will consider Senate Bill 10, which would remove the 15 current members and reduce the board size down to 11. The CRC is one of several state boards to be included in the bill.
