
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A Wilmington man was sentenced to 295 months in prison, Thursday, followed by five years supervised release for drug trafficking, according to a news release.
Officials say Olden Terry, age 39, pled guilty on Sept. 17, 2012 to possession with the intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking offense.
Officers with the Wilmington Police Department carried out two controlled purchases of crack cocaine and powder cocaine during the month of November, 2011.
Terry was immediately arrested after the second controlled purchase, according to a news release.
Law officials found a firearm and a small amount of marijuana at his residence; however, officials found 157 grams of crack cocaine, 45.2 grams of powder cocaine, 370.8 grams of marijuana and 4 hydrocodone pills in the stash house.
