
Students pack nearly 22,000 meals.NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Students at Wilmington Christian Academy worked together Wednesday to pack meals for hungry children overseas.
Students raised over $5,600 since October to benefit the school's Feed the Hunger service project.
The entire high school gathered in the gymnasium Wednesday to individually package nearly 22,000 complete nutritious meals.
The meals will be sent to hungry children in Bangladesh, Haiti and India.
