WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Dry and sunny conditions will continue today, as a barely recognizable cold front moves through helping to keep skies bright, with temperatures into the mid 60s across the region.
Thursday we will see increasing clouds throughout the afternoon as a low pressure center pushes north and east out of the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the major weather forecast models are moving the bulk of precipitation through from dusk on Thursday to early morning Friday. This will come in the form of steady light and moderate rain showers. No severe weather is expected as the system pulls to the north through Friday morning.
Friday afternoon through the weekend mostly sunny skies and slightly above normal temperatures are expected.
Another cold front moves our direction on Tuesday.
