
Right now police in Beaulaville are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Tuesday night.BEAULAVILLE, NC (WECT/ WITN) – The Duplin County magistrate's office confirms 52-year-old Max Turner was brought in by Beulaville Police overnight, and charged with an open count of murder in connection with a deadly shooting Tuesday night.
Police Chief Joey Carter tells NBC affiliate WITN that the name of the victim is not being released at this time.
Carter tells WITN one man was shot and killed in the street downtown behind the BB&T bank near a florist shop on Bostic Street.
