Antonio Antwan Bradley (Source: New Hanover County Sheriff's Office)NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A New Hanover County man faces drug charges after authorities reportedly bought drugs from him and later found him to be in possession of heroin, a weapon and more.
According to a spokesperson with the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, authorities executed a search warrant at 31-year-old Antonio Antwan Bradley's home Monday, in the 800 block of Meares Street after detectives bought drugs from Bradley.
At the home, they discovered 138 bags of heroin, digital scales and a .40 caliber handgun.
Bradley was subsequently charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of firearm by felon, possession with intent to sell/deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a home or dwelling for drugs.
The heroin bags were stamped with red stars, and had a street value of more than $2,500.
Bradley remains in jail under a $100,000 bond.
