WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A warm and mostly sunny February day on tap with high temperatures moving into the mid 60s by mid afternoon ahead of a very weak cold front this evening.
As high pressure eases off to the east the southwesterly winds continue to pump in the warmer air. But the weak cold front passing this evening will help to keep us into the mid 0s for Wednesday and perhaps at about 60 for Thursday afternoon.
Shower chances increase Friday as a system pulls in out of the northern Gulf of Mexico.
Drier weather is expected this weekend.
