WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Several productions filmed in Wilmington took advantage of the Super Bowl audience Sunday night by airing trailers during the big game.

CBS's new show Under the Dome teased viewers with a 15 second trailer for the upcoming series that is going to be filmed in Wilmington.

According to a spokesperson for CBS, the new series will feature Natalie Martinez, Colin Ford and Britt Robertson.

The series will be based in a fictitious town called Chester's Mill. The town finds itself surrounded by a mysterious barrier that won't allow people to travel outside of it.

Under the Dome, which is based on a Stephen King novel, has not yet announced a start date for production, but is expected to air this summer. CBS ordered 13 episodes of the series.
