WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Sunny, cool and seasonable weather for the first week of February as highs this afternoon will slide into the low 50s. An area of weak high pressure will move overhead for the first half of the day with increasing clouds this evening as a cold front approaches from the west.
Rain chances will remain small in spite of the approaching front with a glancing shower possible after a warm high temperature of 65F for Tuesday.
The shower chance is a small one late Tuesday into Wednesday, with more warm weather expected Wednesday as well.
Another cold front gathers Thursday into Friday moving through mainly rain free before the weekend begins - bringing some sunny and dry conditions by Saturday.
