WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The final stages of the North Third Street improvement project are underway.
According to Wilmington's City Spokesman Dylan Lee, crews still have to remove old utility poles, finalize burying utilities underground, re-mark the pavement and add new trash cans along the road.
The cones you see on the road will be removed in the next two weeks.
The project is expected to be completed in the middle of March.
