BURGAW, NC (WECT) - The NBC show Revolution has moved into Burgaw for filming.

The cast and crew set up outside the courthouse on the town square on Wednesday.

A flag is flying by the statue of General Pender and nearby cars and streets have been covered in dirt.

Revolution takes place 15 years after a blackout plunges the world into a technical abyss. The lack of electricity wipes out every piece of technology. The show centers around the Matheson family who has ties to why the blackout happened.

The show returns to WECT on Monday, March 25.
