WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Tuesday night the city heard from downtown business owners and members of the community about how to make the Martin Luther King Jr. parade better next year.
This year, for the first time, the parade moved from Castle St. to Front St. The move prompted some praise and some complaints.
That's why the city wanted to host this meeting to talk about what worked and what didn't.
Some Castle St. business owners weren't happy about the move, but some on Front St. saw a boost from the parade.
