No one was inside the house when it caught fire in the Myrtle Grove community Sunday. (Source: Patrick Melvin)NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Investigators are having a difficult time determining what caused a fire at a home off Myrtle Grove Road Sunday night because the flames destroyed just about everything.
According to the New Hanover County Deputy Fire Marshal, the cause of the fire is listed as undetermined.
The home on Edgewater Drive caught fire Sunday night and was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
According to fire officials, no one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.
