The tagline, Southern Charm in Full Bloom, was chosen from a large number of submissions and won by a narrow margin despite hundreds of votes cast.
Janey Roth entered the tagline and will be featured in 2013 North Carolina Azalea Festival materials.
The winner of the contest will receive an Azalea Festival Prize Pack valued at $450, including two VIP tickets to festival concerts, two celebrity reception tickets to sit at the Queen's table, and entry into the Azalea Festival Parade in a car powered by the festival.
