Daniel Davis, (Source: Columbus County Sheriff's Office)COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Detectives with the Columbus County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fight in the jail that led to one inmate breaking his jaw.
Deputies say Daniel Davis got into a fight in the jail on January 18th. His jaw was fractured in the process.
Davis had been in jail for several weeks at the time, waiting to face charges in South Carolina.
Just last week, deputies in Bladen County started investigating a fight at the jail there that led to the hospitalization of an inmate.
