
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A New Hanover County assistant principal was wrongfully terminated, but now the NHC Board of Education is appealing a high court.
Tiffany Tobe-Williams was fired from her assistant principal position at Ogden Elementary school. She later appealed the decision.
The judge agreed with the appeal and now the Board of Education is appealing a high court.
According to School District Attorney Wayne Bullard, the NHC Board of Education filed an appeal, in the Tobe-Williams case, Jan. 14 with the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
There is no word yet on why Tobe-Williams was fired.
