Silver Alert cancelled for missing woman believed to have dementia

SAMPSON COUNTY, NC (WECT) – North Carolina Department of Public Safety has cancelled a Sliver Alert for a missing endangered woman.

Marie Irene Palacios-Martinez was believed to be suffering from dementia or another form of a mental disorder. Officials thought she could have been traveling west towards El Salvador.

Again, the Silver Alert has been cancelled at the request of the Sampson County Sheriff's office.
