WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Expect another mild afternoon as temperatures push into the mid-60s by midday. But as the sun goes down, a dry cloudless cold front moves through sending temperatures tumbling once again.
Overnight our temperatures will drop to the mid 30s with winds out of the northwest at 10-15 mph. It certainly will feel chilly for the start of the day Tuesday.
Tuesday afternoon won't be much warmer with highs struggling into the mid 40s. It is once the sun goes down, however, that things really get chilly as the mid 20s are expected for the start of the day Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday, gradual warming is once again expected before another cold front brings shower chances and cooler weather for the weekend.
