RALEIGH, NC (WECT) - Changes went into effect Wednesday for Greyhound routes between Raleigh and southeastern North Carolina, according to a news release.
Greyhound's Raleigh to Myrtle Beach intercity bus route will be split into two routes linked in Wilmington. Here are the new routes….Raleigh to Wilmington to Jacksonville and return; and Jacksonville to Wilmington to Myrtle Beach and return.
Officials believe that by splitting the route, passengers from both Raleigh and Jacksonville will be able to travel to Myrtle Beach and passengers from Myrtle Beach will be able to travel to both Raleigh and Jacksonville.
In addition to these changes, officials say the Wilmington to Raleigh route will operate in the evening instead of in the morning and the Jacksonville to Raleigh route will operate earlier in the morning.
