BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A man was killed Tuesday night after a traffic accident in Brunswick County.
According to NC Highway Patrol, Don Cordell Bryant, 56 of Shallotte, was driving on N. Mulberry Road. Officials say he started driving off the road and overcorrected, causing his car to flip.
Bryant was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was thrown from the car.
Troopers are investigating the accident and believe reckless driving could be the cause. There is no word yet if alcohol played a role.
