Police officers made an arrest in the parking lot of StarNews Tuesday night for a reported hit and run.
Daniel Christopher Devane (Source: WPD)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Police officers made an arrest in the parking lot of StarNews Tuesday night for a reported hit and run.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, a call went out from the 911 center around 10:30 p.m. in reference to a possible hit and run involving a 2003 black Ford Crown Victoria.
Officers stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of StarNews and arrested 32-year-old Damiel Christopher Devane.
Devane was charged with:
- driving while license revoked
- speeding in excess of 15mph
- expired registration
- operating a vehicle without insurance
- reckless driving with wanton disregard for the safety of others
- hit and run
