WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- More head scratching weather is expected again today as high temperatures will once again breach the 70F degree mark for most of the region. High pressure to our southeast and a very slowly advancing cold front will keep us feeling more like April than January. These warm temperatures could help to once again develop patchy fog across the area.
Changes will come slowly over the next couple of days as an upper level low develops on the south edge of the cold front helping to switch the pattern up. Most of the major weather forecast models indicate this feature will move overhead Thursday into Friday with cooler temperatures and decent rain chances.
This low should move up the coast Friday into the weekend drying things out.
