The movie was filmed here locally and allowed a hundreds of people to play a role in the film.
The premiere is set for Feb. 14 and Southport wants to get a big crowd together to watch the film hit the big screen.
Last week leaders in Southport approved $14,500 for the movie premiere.
Tickets will be $50 per person and will include a 1:30 p.m. showing of the movie at Surf Cinemas, a commemorative T-shirt and an after-party with dinner and drinks at the Southport Community Building.
Organizers tell WECT.com they hope to sell about 300 tickets.
They also say Southport residents will get priority ticket sales.
People can buy tickets at Visitor's Center in the Fort Johnston Garrison House, at Davis and Bay streets. Tickets will then be available to the public on Wednesday.
