Berman Davis, Jr. is accused of attacking his brother with a machete. (Source: Wilmington Police Dept.)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A man was arrested Saturday after police say he attacked his brother with a machete.
Wilmington police officers responded to 1311 Dawson Street around 12:45am Saturday in reference to a man in the street bleeding.
Antonio Andre Fullwood told officers that his brother Berman Rakim Davis, Jr. assaulted him.
Officers say Fullwood had gone to Davis' house and a fight broke out. Davis went inside his apartment, grabbed a machete and attacked Fullwood, breaking and cutting his arm.
Davis was booked in the New Hanover County Jail under a $1,000 bond.
