NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Drivers traveling to and
from Pleasure Island could see some extra traffic delays Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to a string of three accidents at
the intersection of Carolina Beach Road and Inlet Point Drive, according to New
Hanover County Dispatch.
The most recent at about 2:30 PM involved a motorcycle and a
car. One person was transported to the hospital, but a condition is unknown at
this point.
Before that, two other accidents happened at 1:30 and 2:00
PM. No one was hurt in the first two crashes, according to dispatch.
